Pedagogic, historic and artistic presentations and panels include work with the Southeastern Theatre Conference, Comparative Drama Conference, Mid-America Theatre Conference, Association for Theatre in Higher Education, International Playback Theatre Symposium, and Impro Talks at the Zurich University of the Arts. Academic topics have ranged from “Improv in Practice: A Participatory Plenary,” and “Improvisation as a Prosaic Theatrical Paradigm or a Belated Response to Aristotle’s Poetics,” to “Revising the Role of Improvisational Training in the Traditional Acting Laboratory,” and “It’s All Greek to Me: Parodic Long-Form Improv as Public Pedagogy” (with several papers being co-authored by student collaborators.)
Teaching experience consists of introductory and customized improvisational workshops for multiple artistic and collegiate institutions such as Lansing Community College, Western Illinois University, Fantasy Playhouse Theatre, Louisiana State University, the University of Western Florida, Pensacola Opera, SAK University, Florida Career College, Bay Area Improv Theatre, Barry University, Fern Creek Elementary, Seminole State College, the Sarasota Improv Festival, and the Crummer Graduate School and Honors Programs of Rollins College.

Improv for Business
An on-your-feet interactive experience that uncovers how improvisational techniques can enable new ways of thinking, communicating and thriving in the workplace.
Putting the “I” in Improv
Exploring improvisational performance as a more innately personal and revealing art-form, this masterclass uses the participants’ own lives as the inspiration for play.

Character Intensive: The Encounter
A 3-4 hour intensive and immersive workshop where actors embody and remain in freshly-created characters for the duration of an emotionally fraught encounter session.
Getting to Know Will (Shakespeare)
A whirlwind overview of Shakespearean language techniques, such as alliteration, antithesis, parallelisms and extended metaphors, that empowers the improviser to reach new heights.
Day-Long Improv Intensive
Culminating in a playful public performance (appropriate for community-building or as a fundraiser), this intensive day-long training session teaches a stock of short-form competitive improv games suitable for novice but brave performers.
Improv-ing Your Teaching
Connects the ways in which improvisational pedagogy and approaches can enrich and increase student involvement across a variety of university disciplines.
